Northwest DC resident Olban Omar Murillo Bajurito was arrested quickly after accosting a teenage girl at the DC USA mall on 14th Street NW, according to investigators from the Metropolitan Police Department.
The 30-year-old allegedly sexually assaulted a teen while walking on the escalators at the mall at approximately 6:54 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 9.
Immediately after the incident, the girl reported it, and officers were able to quickly identify Murillo Bajurito as a suspect and took him into custody without incident.
Murillo Bajurito was charged with misdemeanor sexual abuse. No information about his initial court appearance was released by police.
